Since I don’t really know what to do next. Decided to log on to kuler.adobe.com searched for Chinese New Year themed colors and messed around with circles. This is the result.

Messing around with Illustrator’s default symbols (Flower symbols). Tore the petals apart and recomposed them into this composition that you see here. Finishing with a brush stroke vector line.

Duration : 15 mins.

There’ll be no huge image for this design.

Presenting my facebook application’s icon for this blog.  I’ve managed to install and create an application in facebook that links to my wordpress thanks to this tutorial.

Anyway this is a really simple icon. Most of the time spent was to try out some composition and colors.

Been wanting to play with flash cs4′s deco tool for awhile.

Finally got round to it and here are the results. The shapes are from a book titled “vormator”. Basically everyone who contributed to that book was given a set of shapes to get creative with. Check the basic shapes used here.

The colors and  composition were then adjusted in Illustrator.
