Sorry if the next few posts look similar because they’ll be iterations from yesterday’s work with hype. I’ve managed to find out how to add alpha animation into my composition. well pretty much alpha, movement, scale but I assure you the compositions will  change for the next few =)

Been messing around with some codes from a new open source framework developed by joshua davis called hype. Really easy to play with. I just messed around with the codes not the graphics the graphics were taken from the sample sources provided by the Hype team.

Click here to try out the application for yourself. It will take over the whole browser in a new page. It was originally developed in 500 x 375px but since its vector there’s no issues at all. To see a random new design just hit on the refresh button and the fun part about this is you get to print it if you like it tho there might be issues with the stroke thickness for now. Will try more later on.

Been wanting to play with flash cs4′s deco tool for awhile.

Finally got round to it and here are the results. The shapes are from a book titled “vormator”. Basically everyone who contributed to that book was given a set of shapes to get creative with. Check the basic shapes used here.

The colors and  composition were then adjusted in Illustrator.
